Roman chamomile hair rinse
- Makes: 1 session
- Time: 10 min + 30 min steeping
- From: Roman chamomile
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons dried Roman chamomile flower heads
- 500 ml boiling water
Method
- Pour the boiling water over the chamomile, cover and leave to steep for 30 minutes until lukewarm.
- Strain through a fine sieve or a cloth.
- Wash your hair as usual, then slowly pour the rinse over it above a bowl; catch it and pour it over again a few times.
- Do not rinse out. Traditionally used to give fair hair a warm sheen.
Storing: Make it fresh each time. Test it first on a small patch of skin if you are sensitive to the daisy family, and keep it out of your eyes.
