Anise hyssop tea
- Makes: 1 teapot (± 750 ml)
- Time: 10 min
- From: Anise hyssop
Ingredients
- a handful of fresh anise hyssop leaves and flowers (or 2 tablespoons dried)
- 750 ml water
Method
- Bring the water to the boil and let it cool briefly.
- Put the anise hyssop in the teapot and pour over the water.
- Leave to steep for 5 to 8 minutes and strain.
- Drink it plain: the tea is naturally sweet. Cooled, it is also lovely as iced tea.
