Goji berry tea

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dried goji berries (± 15 g)
  • 500 ml water just off the boil (± 90 °C)
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 slice of unwaxed lemon (optional)

Method

  1. Rinse the dried berries briefly.
  2. Put the berries, ginger and lemon in a teapot.
  3. Pour the hot water over and leave to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour the tea through a strainer into two cups. The softened berries can be eaten or stirred into yoghurt.

Storing: Drink the tea the same day, or keep it in the fridge until the next day. The berries can be infused a second time.
