Tea · From Bladwijzer
Roman chamomile tea
- Makes: 1 cup
- Time: 10 min
- From: Roman chamomile
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dried (or 2 teaspoons fresh) Roman chamomile flower heads
- 250 ml water
- a spoonful of honey (optional)
Method
- Bring the water to the boil.
- Put the flower heads in a tea infuser and pour over the water.
- Cover the cup and leave to steep for 5 minutes; any longer and the tea turns bitter.
- Strain and drink warm, with honey if you like.
Storing: Drink it fresh. The dried flowers keep for a year in a closed jar.
