Hawthorn tea

Ingredients

  • 1–2 teaspoons dried hawthorn blossom and leaves
  • 250 ml water
  • a little honey, if you like

Method

  1. Put the blossom and leaves in a tea infuser or teapot.
  2. Bring the water to the boil and pour it over.
  3. Leave to steep, covered, for 10 minutes and strain. Good with a little honey, or mixed with lime blossom.

Storing: Drink the tea fresh. Dried blossom and leaves keep for a year in a closed jar.
