Corsican mint ice cubes
- Makes: ± 24 ice cubes
- Time: 10 min + 4 hrs freezing
- From: Corsican mint
Ingredients
- 24 sprigs of Corsican mint (2 to 3 leaves per sprig)
- ± 500 ml cold water
- 2 ice-cube trays
Method
- Rinse the sprigs quickly under cold water and pat them dry.
- Put one sprig in each compartment of the trays and fill them halfway with water. Freeze for 1 hour.
- Then top up the compartments and freeze for at least another 3 hours: that way the leaf stays nicely in the middle of the cube.
- Use one ice cube per glass, in water, lemonade or iced tea.
Storing: Turn the cubes out of the trays and keep them in a freezer bag: they keep for 3 months. One cube per glass is enough.
