Look at the young twigs.
- Hairless with rough warts, drooping: Diamond-shaped leaf with a long pointed tip; deep black diamond-shaped fissures at the foot of the trunk.
- Finely hairy, without warts, not drooping: Oval leaf; grows on wet ground.
