Tea · From Bladwijzer

Oswego tea

Ingredients

  • a handful of fresh bee balm leaves and flowers (or 2 tablespoons dried)
  • 750 ml water
  • optionally honey and a slice of lemon

Method

  1. Bring the water to the boil.
  2. Put the leaves and flowers in the teapot and pour over the water.
  3. Leave to steep for 5 to 10 minutes; the flowers turn the tea pink.
  4. Strain and sweeten with honey if you like.

Storing: Drink it fresh; once cooled, a day in the fridge as iced tea.
